Retreats, Wedding & Families

Discover the beauty of the Allegheny Highlands. We offer a private setting for your group to relax, explore, and create unforgettable memories. Our comfortable, modern facilities are ideal for mid-sized youth groups, church groups, scouts, ski clubs, family reunions, and other group gatherings.

Our location has been described by many as breathtaking. Situated at 3000 feet elevation in the Allegheny Mountains we are located in the mountains which form the border between Virginia and West Virginia.  As you follow the trail through the riverside meadows you will find our office, health center, dining lodge, cabins, art center, and a host of recreational and training facilities such as our sports fields, basketball court, bike skills park, equestrian arena, pond, climbing wall, challenges course, swimming pool and more. Our working farm includes pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, and a friendly cat.

Recreational opportunities

Surrounded by National Forest lands, we are fortunate in that our location allows us easy access to some of the more notable recreational areas on the east coast. Tremendous opportunities abound for world-class rock climbing, hiking, and biking. We maintain a network of trails suitable for various levels of hiking and biking.

Winter Fun

Winter offers the chance for cozy getaways with the best skiing, boarding, and tubing in the Southeast. Groups can take in the slopes during the day and return to a private retreat for evening events. We are happy to assist you in planning your next winter retreat. Contact us to set up a private tour or to book your stay!

Our cabins are equipped with comfortable bunk-style beds and include private showers, toilets, and sinks.

Our lodge is a great place to kick back and relax by the fire. Groups often spend evenings in the lodge with boards, games, relaxing with a book, watching a movie or using the Wi-Fi.

Meal Options

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for your group of 20 or more. We serve hot buffet-style meals for breakfast and dinner and offer a brown bag lunch for you to take along on your ski trip or sightseeing adventure.
