Programs

At Hidden Meadows, we offer opportunities for kids of all ages—from a first-time sleepaway camp for 7 and 8 year olds to programs designed specifically to provide overnight camp for teens. Better yet, Hidden Meadows grows with you, so there are new opportunities to unlock each year.

Traditional Camp

Our one and two week program offer campers the timeless sleepaway camp experience in sessions that fit into your busy summer calendar. It’s amazing what we can fit into just a week or two: your camper’s choice of 20 on-site workshops, 10 off-site New Adventures, special events, and ample time connecting with cabinmates.

Earth Expeditions

Earth Expeditions combine our most popular New Adventures into an action-packed week. A small co-ed group spends most of their time out of camp, exploring all that Wild and Wonderful West Virginia has to offer.

Trips may include: overnight canyon canoeing, whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and more!

Counselor-in-Training

The Counselor-in-Training Program is specially designed to provide rising juniors in high school with leadership opportunities while having a fantastic camp experience in a small group setting. CITs also gain real-world experience assisting in a variety of program areas in our Traditional Camp as well as introductory training in belaying, ropes course, lifeguarding, group management, and team building skills. Don’t worry, we save plenty of time for our CITs to enjoy their favorite parts of camp!
