Campers enjoy our wide-open playing fields, courts, and variety of games. Our sports program emphasizes cooperation, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and good-old fashioned fun. We offer both instructional classes for skill building and informal games for just about anyone. Badminton, lacrosse, cricket, ping pong, and foosball are also popular and are often available after lunch or before dinner.
Water activities are a big part of the summer with Hidden Meadows. On any given day, campers can be found swimming in our pool or pond, canoeing and sailing at nearby Lake Buffalo (see Outdoor Adventure), whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge (see Trips), or knee deep in our own stream learning about aquatic life. Our heated pool is a fun location for swimming classes, pool sports, or just splashing and hanging out with friends. Our freshwater pond with waterslide is always a hit with campers who enjoy the cooler waters typical of our mountain home.
